Linda Wall

Now retired from Thames Valley Police, Linda finished her career as deputy commander for Reading.

The challenges of commanding a large Police area in order to ensure the safety of its diverse community, as well as the area’s commercial business interests required Linda to draw on her years of experience in the public protection arena. She developed many strategic partnerships, including setting up multi agency safeguarding hubs across the 6 Berkshire Unitary Authorities, bringing together teams from Police, social services, health, education etc.

In retirement her aims are to identify new ways of supporting the people who work within our public services.Of particular interest is staff wellbeing and reduction in demand for services.

Linda likes to ride horses and walk her spaniels along with travelling with her husband around the UK in a camper van !
