What is ReadTrip
ReadTrip is an organisation formed from a deep love of reading and travel. We believe that reading has the power to bring people together globally, and changes our world for the better. Reading books can transport people to new and exciting places, no matter where they are situated. ReadTrip is here to make travelling the world accessible to all, through the power of written stories.
Our aims
We are developing an application that allows people to keep track of their worldwide adventures that they have experienced through literature. Our aim is to diversify mainstream reading habits and grow an online community of people from all over the world, as well as promoting a more sustainable and affordable form of travel – through books.

The story so far
We are reaching out to libraries, bookshops and charities to collaborate on this exciting movement to #ReadTheWorldTogether. We want to support local businesses and literary organisations in the work they are doing, as well as make diverse books more available to every reader.
We’re growing our online community through social media. Everyone is welcome to follow and join our monthly book club challenges and join the celebration of travel – made possible through books.
My Ethos story
I’ve always been passionate about reading and the impact books have on people’s lives. I joined Ethos as a Young Leader earlier this year as part of the brand team.
I’m very excited to find out the extent of what we can accomplish through the ReadTrip project.
We know that reading books is much kinder to our environment than flying.
Our planet needs us all to act more responsibly and care for it, and one way we can help people to do that is through spreading the magic of books.
